Lab Values
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The LTP Lab recognizes that, at times, the field of psychology and academic institutions have acted to support and/or generate systems of inequality. Our commitment is to actively work, through our teaching, research, and service, to promote equality and inclusion in our lab, department, university, communities, and society broadly. We aim to foster an environment where all members of the lab can thrive personally and professionally. In doing so, we seek to uplift not only each other, but also our students, colleagues, research participants, and the broader communities that we engage with. We are committed to continuing to grow and learn from each other and our communities, and we seek to foster ethical, transparent research and teaching practices that reflect our mission of equality. Discrimination based on social identities, including race, ethnicity, country of origin, nationality, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, or (dis)ability status will not be tolerated.
Our Lab Community
The LTP Lab is guided by a person first, scholar second policy. We recognize that to succeed as scholars we must ensure our overall health and well-being. All members of the lab should commit to their own well-being, and the well-being of others, above degree or professional commitments.
